Fall Wish List for Evie- Toddler Girl Style

It is no secret that my favorite season is fall.   Although it is presently over one hundred degrees outside, I am dreaming of our first cool front.  Frolicking around the pumpkin patch, cooking my first gumbo of the season and sitting by the fire toasting s'mores.  My perfect world.
With all this excitement, I tend to go a little overboard when purchasing fall clothing for Evie.  I just can't help myself.  Tiny puffer vests, cable knit sweaters and booties are the cutest things in the entire universe to me.  Am I right, girl Moms???  I've been scoping out all of my favorite stores' new arrivals and wanted to share what is currently on my radar.  Old Navy has a wool floppy hat for toddlers. I. am. dying!!  See below.

I literally get an adrenaline rush from all of the cuteness!  Make sure to enter your email in the "Never Miss A Post" box so you can keep up with our house progress updates!!  Have a great week, friends!

Check out the fabulous job Dustin did on the wainscoting! I love the way everything is coming together!  The wallpaper was put up last week but I will save those pictures for the big reveal!

Evie's room BEFORE with the old flooring & (toys everywhere.) Also, you can see her room is painted also!

The floors look darker than they really are in this picture.

Here is a close-up of the floors.

Living room is all painted with the old floors.

Flooring installed in the LR!

I will post more pictures after we unpack our belongings and start making it look like a home! Our next step will be tackling the kitchen.  Say some prayers for us.  This will be our biggest job yet!
A special thanks to all of our family members that have helped out at the house with painting, wallpaper, etc... We love you!

Hope you are all having a wonderful week!

Playroom Inspiration Board

Hi friends! Sorry for the radio silence... We have been prepping the new house to move in and finally did so this past weekend!  Most of our belongings are still packed away in storage AND the kitchen is not completed.  If I stop and think about all of the disorganization and chaos I start breaking out into hives. Ah!!!  However, this Momma bird is grateful to have her nest back even though it is under construction!

I am so anxious to get Evie's playroom together because sister girl has 2,000 toys scattered all over the floor as we speak.  She went through some of the stored boxes and found tons of her old toys.  She kept thanking Dustin and I because she thought they were all presents.  She is a trip! Most of them are baby toys, so we will be donating those and organizing the rest.

Let's talk about the playroom.. I am currently obsessed with Scandinavian-style kid's rooms.  The simplicity of their aesthetic and pop of color really speak to me.  Disney character posters and matchy-matchy furniture pieces are not my jam.  So, here is what I am planning for the playroom:
